CANT STOP Therapy
Assessment
After a discussion of your history, habits, and lifestyle – a systematic assessment is done to investigate the cause of any limiting pain, tension, or dysfunction. This involves movement screens, analyzing range of motion capabilities, muscle and joint testing, and thorough palpation of tissues and anatomical structures.
Manual Therapy
Appropriate techniques are used to improve movement and functional capabilities, including massage techniques, soft tissue therapy, and joint mobilizations. Helpful tools are utilized in areas of need, including acupuncture and cupping.
Contemporary Medical Acupuncture & Cupping
Members of the CANT STOP Team are graduates of McMaster’s Neurofunctional Acupuncture Program, and utilize this powerful tool to help with pain syndromes and functional problems. In addition, Cupping is another helpful tool that can be used when aiming to decrease tissue tension and sensitivity.
Corrective Exercise
Proper exercises are given and are essential to reinforce improvements made in Treatment. As movement capabilities are restored, exercises promote correct muscular function and are the keys to prevent re-injury and maximize performance.
